Metallica Working on a Project That Is ‘Not 100 Percent a Metallica Record’
Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett revealed a cryptic nugget of information about a project the band is working on to follow up 2008's 'Death Magnetic.' Hammett told Rolling Stone that it is "not 100 percent a Metallica record. It's a recording project, let's put it that way." While that doesn't really tell us much, it certainly piques our interest as to what exactly the Mighty M are doing.
The band plans to work on the "recording project" in May, and they hope to complete it within two weeks. Whatever the case, we're putting money on the fact that it will probably "Rock" with a capital "R," no less.
