With all of Metallica's success , the group has naturally given back to various charities. They're continuing their philanthropy with the launch of a new partnership with Spotify and Starbucks. Both companies will be donating a combined $1 million to three charities, including Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation, Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation and Chance the Rapper's Social Works.

Along with this partnership and donation to their foundation, Starbucks will also release a specially branded Metallica gift card to over 8,000 stores this holiday season. Metallica also launched their website for the All Within My Hands foundation, giving fans information on exactly what their charity supports, and how they can help get involved with the organization.

A statement released by the band pointed out some of their recent philanthropic contributions, including "the Bridge School Benefit Concerts (appearing three times), the MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concerts, Live Earth, Global Citizen, and most recently Band Together Bay Area. The band has donated proceeds from ticket sales and album releases to various charitable organizations, including Fondation de France's Give For France and Gilda's Club NYC."

Find your local Starbucks to see who will be carrying the Metallica gift card, and check out their new website to learn more about the All Within My Hands Foundation.

In other Metallica news, the band has been nominated for the 2018 Grammys, with "Atlas, Rise!" being chosen for the Best Rock Song category and Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct earning a Best Rock Album nod. You can check out the full list of rock nominees here.
