Metal Allegiance's self-titled debut album is almost upon us, and the all-star collective is dropping a few more key details in the lead up to the album release.

First off, the band's iTunes pre-order for the disc goes live today. Fans can make sure to reserve their copy of Metal Allegiance's debut disc and hear the likes of Philip Anselmo, Chuck Billy, Randy Blythe, Jamey Jasta, Chris Jericho, Troy Sanders, Steve "Zetro" Souza, Matt Heafy, dUg Pinnick, Alissa White-Gluz, Cristina Scabbia, Mark Osegueda, Tim "Ripper" Owens, Charlie Benante, Rex Brown, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Phil Demmel, Gary Holt, Andreas Kisser, Misha Mansoor and Ben Weinman joining project leaders Alex Skolnick, David Ellefson and Mike Portnoy on original tracks. Be sure to head here to place your order. The disc will arrive on Sept. 17, but all who order via iTunes will receive an instant download of the song "Can't Kill the Devil," featuring Billy, Skolnick, Demmel, Kisser, Ellefson and Portnoy.

In other new album news, if you live in New York City you're in for a treat. Metal Allegiance is planning a special record release show to take place on Sept. 17 at the Best Buy Theater. The show is expected to feature Anthrax's Frank Bello, Scott Ian and Charlie Benante, Testament's Chuck Billy and Alex Skolnick, Megadeth's David Ellefson, Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz, Slayer and Exodus' Gary Holt, Death Angel's Mark Osegueda, The Winery Dogs' Mike Portnoy, Mastodon's Troy Sanders, Metal Allegiance's Mark Menghi and a few special guests. Space Born Killers will open the show. Tickets are on sale for $25 and can be purchased via AXS at this location.

Prior to the event, D'Addario will host an educational event featuring members of Metal Allegiance. Dubbed D'Addario Live, the event is designed to promote music education by engaging students with inspiring and interactive musical experiences. Those who attend will also receive a free set of D'Addario strings, Promark drums sticks or Evans drum heads during the master class. Stay tuned to D'Addario's social networks for info on a code that will give you access to tickets for the event.

Meanwhile, Metal Allegiance continue to tease the release of their new album. The band just posted the third webisode with a teaser of the track "Dying Song" from the upcoming album. Check out the video above.
