Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Marky Ramone, along with ex-Misfits frontman Michale Graves, will be heading out on a string of U.S. dates starting this Friday, Oct. 6th. Besides playing with the Ramones, the drummer spent time as a member of other influential punk acts Richard Hell & the Voidoids and Wayne County and the Backstreet Boys, plus recording two albums with Dust, a hard rock band he played in during his teens. The band calls themselves Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg.

For the current trek, Ramone will be pulling material from his classic discography. "I think anyone who comes to one of these shows will have a great time. We'll be playing 30 classic Ramones songs. Michale will be playing a 4-5 song acoustic set and then we'll all come back and do our encores, electrically. Between this spring and summer, we've already done around 55 shows. I've been with Michale for over two years, touring all over the world. So now it's time to hit the States hard," Ramone tells Noisecreep.

The current tour gives Ramone an opportunity to get in front of an audience that his late bandmates never had a chance to. "What's great about this is that the younger generation of Ramones fans can come out and enjoy the songs. Most of them were way too young to have seen us when we were still touring. So far they've given us their seal of approval. We were really happy about that."

The Oct. 13th date marks the first time Ramone has played NYC in years. "It's been roughly 10 years since I last played in the city. Michale and I are looking forward to having a great time with our fans and friends," commented Ramone.
