Over a month ago, Noisecreep reported on a Lady Gaga/Meshuggah mashup which combined the vocal track from Gaga's 'Paprarazzi' with the music of Meshuggah's 'Bleed.' In the same vein of fusing the grandiosity of pop diva singing with the battering rhythms of a metal band, we now have Madonna's 'Ray of Light' paired with Carcass' 'Corporeal Jigsore Quandary' -- and interesting results ensue.

The audio mashup was created by DJ Schmolli, who has created many hybrid tracks like this -- even one combining Bruce Dickinson's soaring vocals in Iron Maiden's 'The Trooper' with the Monkees' jangly 'I'm A Believer.' "I have a metal background, so that's why I often mash metal/rock stuff," Schmolli told Noisecreep. "I simply love it! I produced 'Madonna's Carcass' in March 2007, so it's actually an old mix of mine."

The video mashup came later, when Guttorm Hellevik of Norway got a hold of Schmolli's audio. The video features shots from the Carcass video for 'Corporeal' with a live performance of Madonna's song. Madonna even played guitar in the performance, adding to the overall effect of the mashup.
