Three Days Grace will drop Transit of Venus on Oct. 2 via RCA Records. The Canadian crew recorded with Don Gilmore, who has twiddled knobs for the likes of Linkin Park and Bullet for My Valentine. The first single is 'Chalk Outline' and you can pick it up on Aug. 14 at all digital service providers. Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson spoke about the album's direction, saying, "We went for a tighter, more articulated sound on this record. The music we were writing was a little more intricate than in the past, and we've been experimenting with new instruments." [Via Press Release]
