It's always exciting to get a spot right up front at the barricade for your favorite band, but it comes with its down sides. One of them is that it is nearly impossible to make it to the bar for additional drinks and if you do leave your coveted position, you're certain to never reclaim that spot on the rail with a new drink in tow. Killswitch Engage's Jesse Leach, however, looks to have the solution.

During Killswitch's House of Blues show in San Diego, Calif. on Thursday night (Oct. 13; photo from different show above), Leach had that same yearning to get to the bar, but a sea of fans made this feat appear daunting. The frontman then went airborne, launching himself into the crowd as fans passed him back to the bar, where he downed some shots of tequila, and they quickly returned him to the stage.

The action was captured on Instagram and described by user "queenofthereich" and can be viewed below.

Killswitch Engage have been on the road supporting Incarnate, their latest record which netted the influential metalcore group their highest Billboard 200 chart position of their career, reaching No. 6 in its debut week. With a performance at Knotfest Mexico tonight (Oct. 15), KsE will head to Europe next, kicking off a tour on Nov. 7. Get a list of dates at the band's Facebook page.

When reflecting about how he has changed since first playing with Killswitch 15 years ago, Leach told Full Metal Jackie, "I think the No. 1 thing I would say is I found confidence in my abilities, not just as a vocalist but as a person. That’s led to a humility, if you will, just to be really aware of how fortunate I am to do what I do and how thankful I am to the fans who support this band to be able to travel the world. So I think it’s a mixed bag of humility and confidence, trying to find the balance between, you know, humility and as often many performers are, the insecurities we all have trying to find that balance."
