All aboard!! Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival founder Kevin Lyman confirmed to Metal Insider that the Mayhem Festival cruise is indeed on. The maiden voyage sets sail on the high seas on Dec. 7 and runs through Dec. 11. Lyman said, "It has been a fun process for both of us and really allows us to expand the Mayhem brand and good times." Lamb of God, Anthrax, Machine Head and Suicide Silence are set to perform, with more additions forthcoming. Switchfoot's eighth annual Bro-Am event will be held at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, Calif. on Saturday, June 16. Admission to the beach event is free, while funds raised from beach vendors and sponsorships, as well as at a pre-event auction night soiree, are donated to charity. This year's Bro-Am will once again benefit San Diego area chapters of StandUp for Kids, a national nonprofit volunteer outreach organization founded in San Diego and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of at-risk, homeless and street kids.
