There will be no new music from glam legends Poison, at least not in the foreseeable future. Singer/guitarist Bret Michaels said, "We have no concrete plans for a new album at the moment, but the Poison guys are like family to me. I've been out all summer with them on the Rock of Ages Tour and you never know what can happen." So it could eventually happen sometime down the road, just not immediately. Michaels, however, will release his latest solo album Get Your Rock On sometime this year. [VH1 Classic Radio]

Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister revealed that the one band he bonded with most on this summer's Mayhem Festival was none other than Anthrax. What's old is new, apparently. When asked, Lemmy chose the 'Thrax, "probably because they're old friends of ours already – so yeah we had a good time with them. They're good lads." Lem also talks about how early rock 'n' roll influences like Buddy Holly no longer factor into his music and why. [Loudwire]
