Dream Theater Keyboardist Jordan Rudess Offers Band, Solo Plans Update (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)
Prog-metal kings Dream Theater are in the midst of wildly popular summer tour, another extension of the worldwide trek in support of their latest release, A Dramatic Turn of Events, which featured the Grammy-nominated single, "On the Backs of Angels."
Opening on the tour is The Crimson ProjeKct, featuring King Crimson's Adrian Belew and Tony Levin, which all but guarantees a magnificent and unique one-two prog punch for fans that appreciate wildly inventive time signatures and complex musical experimentation.
Dream Theater has settled into an epic two-hour set that spans most of the band's career and if the rabid fans Noisecreep saw recently in Anaheim are any indication, then this is one of their hottest tours in years.
Noisecreep hung out on the bus with the band's keyboard wizard, Jordan Rudess, to talk about the tour, the band's upcoming run in South America later this summer, and when work on the next album will begin.
