Update: Issues have joined the tour as well, starting March 12 in Los Angeles and remaining through to the end on April 25 in Sacramento. The band is promoting their 'Beautiful Oblivion' album.

Dance Gavin Dance have finished writing their next album and are getting the momentum rolling with 2020 tour featuring Animals As Leaders, Veil of Maya and Royal Coda.

The trek kicks off a week before the spring season begins, starting in Los Angeles on March 12. The four-band package will blanket the United States (with one date in Canada), stopping in 31 cities by the time the tour concludes. The trek circles back to California on April 25 for the finale.

View the complete schedule below and look for tickets to go on sale at 10AM local time Friday (Nov. 15) at this location.

Earlier this year, Dance Gavin Dance released the stand-alone single, "Blood Wolf," which was the first new track to debut since their eighth album, Artificial Selection, came out in 2018. There's a new record on the horizon, but no details have been made available regarding a tentative release date other than simply sometime next year.

Meanwhile, tech-prog unit Animals As Leaders last released The Madness of Many in 2016 and are said to be working on a follow-up. Veil of Maya dished out False Idol in 2017 and recently dropped the new single "Members Only" and as for Royal Coda, they've issued their first pair of albums in back-to-back-years, this year's Compassion being their newest.

Now all that we have left to wonder is if that security guard who was repulsed and confused by watching Dance Gavin Dance will be working one of the gigs on this tour. Maybe take that night off, dude.
