Coal Chamber + Fear Factory To Embark on Summer 2015 Tour
The calendar may read 2015, but it may feel like 2000 all over again when Coal Chamber hit the road this summer with Fear Factory. The two veteran acts will pair up for a summer run, and they've got some pretty solid support lined up on the trek, as well.
Saint Ridley and Madlife will serve as the opening acts throughout the full run, while Jasta and Devil You Know have signed on to play select dates. The trek launches July 24 in Tucson and continues through an Aug. 22 finale in Santa Ana, Calif. Dates can be seen below.
"Coal Chamber is coming to the USA for another killer tour, this time bringing along some great friends Fear Factory who have a new record coming and my good buddy Jasta with his solo project! Get ready and get your tickets because this tour is gonna sell out and be a good time," says frontman Dez Fafara.
The news comes as Coal Chamber just released their first new album in over 13 years. After reuniting to tour, the group decided to try writing again and have just released the new album Rivals via Napalm Records. The album is currently available as a special Best Buy edition with a bonus DVD at this location and also via iTunes.
Fafara says of the disc, "It's been 13 years since Coal Chamber put out a record. We all worked so hard on this music to make sure the whole album was a stellar push forward for the band and not some nostalgia trip! If you like it heavy and unique you'll love Rivals! This record is full of crushing huge hooks and big down tuned riffs to move ya! Support Heavy music in all its forms!"
And speaking of supporting heavy music, especially in the Coal Chamber form, you can purchase VIP ticket packages for the band's upcoming shows with Fear Factory. Get details here and check out all of the group's dates below.
