Though most people know him as part of the writing crew on the Howard Stern Show, Richard Christy has the kind of metal resume most would envy. Before he joined the 'King of All Media' and his on-air family, Christy manned the drums for bands like Death, Iced Earth and Burning Inside.

Despite his hectic work schedule, last year Christy announced that he was putting together a new musical project through Metal Blade Records called Charred Walls of the Damned. The group's lineup reads like a who's who of metal with Tim 'Ripper' Owens (Judas Priest, Beyond Fear) on vocals, Steve DiGiorgio (Sadus, Testament) playing bass and Trivium (among many others) producer Jason Suecof handling the guitar duties. To say that the anticipation for this band is high would be a major understatement.

Charred Walls of the Damned will release their self-titled debut album on Feb. 2, Noisecreep is thrilled to present to you the world premiere of their 'Ghost Town' video.

"I'm so psyched about how amazing the 'Ghost Town' video turned out," Christy told Noisecreep over lunch recently in Hollywood, Calif. Directed by Mike Schiff from M.A.S. Productions, the apocalyptic clip just bleeds metal. "We were able to film in one of my favorite haunted houses in Pennsylvania called Shocktoberfest, which was really exciting for me because anyone who knows me personally knows I'm a massive Halloween and haunted house fan."

We asked the drummer what his favorite part of the video process was, and it came back to the scenery. "Getting to explore an empty haunted house while filming the video was definitely a cool bonus. I can't say enough about how proud I am of this song and this video!"
