"Follow the signs / We are the victims but we are also the crime / And the only one who can judge us is the earth in time." -- Born of Osiris 'Follow the Signs'

Chicago, Ill.'s Born of Osiris' newest single, 'Follow the Signs,' continues the band's tradition of progressive metalcore with erratic breakdowns and keyboard flourishes. "In today's society, we believe as humans we are too cautious and set in personal routines," keyboardist Joe Buras and vocalist Ron Canizaro told Noisecreep in reference to the song's lyrics. "Distracted by technology and the material world, we fail to see the signs the earth is giving us."

"To be in harmony within ourselves and with others," Buras and Canizaro advised, people should be "open-minded to alternative views, and take control of [their] own lives."

The band's third album, 'The Discovery,' comes hot on the heels of their 2009's 'A Higher Place,' which charted on Billboard's Top 200 at number 73. Noisecreep also talked to the band last year about the lyrics to 'Now Arise', and even premiered the song's video.

Born of Osiris are currently on the Atticus Metal Tour with Darkest Hour and The Human Abstract.
