The annual NAMM convention in Anaheim, Calif. features the introduction of hundreds of new products each year. But the 2013 show featured something really special. Schecter Amplification proudly unveiled their new "Hellwin" series of amplifiers. The amps are a collaboration between Schecter and Synyster Gates, lead guitarist for Avenged Sevenfold.

Interestingly, Gates came up with the name for the line of amps by altering his middle name, "Elwin." In helping to design the amps, Gates also had the chance to work with one of the most famed amp designers in the world, James Brown. After a brief press conference at the Schecter booth, Noisecreep had the opportunity for an exclusive one-on-one with the talented guitarist. Mr. Brown makes an appearance as well to talk about his experience working with Gates.

Synyster described to Noisecreep what made this one of the most exciting days of his life in his words, and also hinted at what's happening with the hotly anticipated next album from A7X.

Just another amazing day at the ever amazing NAMM.
