Avenged Sevenfold's set at the annual Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Dessel, Belgium came to an unscheduled stop when frontman M. Shadows noticed an injured fan in the crowd. In the video below, you can see the singer abruptly cut his vocal part in "Bat Country"  and point to security, saying, "Someone's hurt in there." He had the rest of the band stop playing, and waited until the injured fan was attended to.

Referencing both the crowd and security, he continued, "Someone's very hurt in there. They're knocked out cold. You gotta get them out of there. Don't touch their neck, let someone professional do it."

As the fan was being removed from the precarious situation, Shadows and the band left the stage and said they would return after everyone had a minute to catch their breath. You can watch everything unfold in the video below. Props to Shadows and the rest of Avenged for saying something when they saw something and treating the situation as delicately as possible.

Avenged Sevenfold released their latest album, The Stage, in 2016. The record debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling 76,000 units in its first week.
