As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has managed to come up with the $2 million needed to be freed from jail while awaiting a trial on his attempted murder-for-hire-case.

San Diego's ABC 10 News reports that Lambesis was let go Thursday (May 30) from the Vista Detention Facility near San Diego, where he had been held on suspicion of attempting to solicit someone to kill his estranged wife. Bail had initially been set at $3 million before the judge lowered it to $2 million on May 17.

The vocalist was arrested on May 7 after he allegedly asked an undercover detective to kill his spouse. Police decided to investigate after being tipped off in the week prior that there was someone attempting to solicit a killing. According to reports, Lambesis allegedly gave the detective an envelope containing $1,000, photos of his wife, her address and the code to get through the security gate as well as times when the "hit" could take place without the couple's kids present.

Tim and Meggan Lambesis separated last year after eight years of marriage, with the singer's wife filing for divorce in September. The next step for Lambesis will be a readiness hearing taking place on June 26.
