Arch Enemy’s 10th studio album is on the horizon. Will to Power is set for a Sept. 8 release via Century Media Records and Arch Enemy will be touring through Europe and Russia starting this July.

Will to Power will be Arch Enemy’s second album with Alissa White-Gluz on vocals. As one of metal’s most beloved vocalists, male or female, the departure of Angela Gossow could have been a fatal blow to the Swedish melodeath band. However, the powerful gutturals of White-Gluz fit right in, helping deliver Arch Enemy’s highest charting album in many countries with 2014’s War Eternal.

After touring in over 40 countries with White-Gluz on the mic, Arch Enemy are ready to begin the cycle once again with Will to Power. "It was a pleasure working with Alex Reisfar on the Will to Power cover artwork, he immediately grasped the concept and atmosphere we were looking for with this album,” says guitarist Michael Amott. “We talked about the double edged sword that is human ambition, how it can be outstandingly creative and beautiful but can also be turned into something dark and powerful. Alex proceeded to masterfully paint a strong image that evokes a lot of feelings.”

Amott adds, “The human skull as a central focal point, the flesh sort of falling off into the circular pattern. The snake ouroboros weaving in and out of the mouths and throats of the severed heads of a wolf, a goat and a vampire bat... All representing self determination and a predatory, almost parasitic will to power.”

Pre-orders for Will to Power will become available in the coming weeks, but for now, fans can sign up for a special campaign to have their name included in the Will to Power deluxe box set.
