Metal fans are already fully aware of the fact that Anthrax singer Joey Belladonna, who rejoined the band last year, has one of the most soaring, powerful voices in hard rock. Belladonna proves the range and roar of his voice with his cover of Frank Sinatra's standard, 'Strangers in the Night,' which appears on the forthcoming 'SIN-Atra' compilation album. Belladonna literally transforms this classic into a metal anthem, with two horns held high. It might sound odd in theory, but the execution is nearly flawless.

Noisecreep is thrilled to premiere the song today. The tune sounds a bit like old school power metal, with big vocals and galloping, chunky riffing.

'SIN-Atra' is out March 29th and features the likes of Strapping Young Lad covering 'New York New York,' among other Sinatra standards. Ol' Blue Eyes would likely be either horrified, proud, or amused at the sound of metal bands bastardizing his songs. Metalheads, on the other hand, will rejoice.
