2017 Rock on the Range Sells Out, Adds Live and Of Mice & Men to Lineup
The spirit of rock and metal is alive and well in 2017, with one of the first major indicators being that the 11th Annual Rock on the Range festival has already sold out in record time.
This marks the fifth consecutive sell out for the festival, with the 2017 event selling out just a little over a month after it initially went on sale. The 2017 festival has Metallica, Soundgarden and Korn in the headline spots, with the bands performing at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio May 19-21.
The stellar bill also includes two new additions that are certain to generate interest. Live, who just reunited with original vocalist Ed Kowalczyk, will perform at Rock on the Range, as will Of Mice & Men, who announced over the holidays that co-vocalist Austin Carlile was leaving the group and that they would be continuing on as a four-piece.
They join a bill that also includes such top acts as The Offspring, Volbeat, Primus, Bush, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Seether, Coheed and Cambria, Alter Bridge, The Pretty Reckless, Dillinger Escape Plan and many more.
Be sure to visit the Rock on the Range festival website for additional information on the full performance lineup, the Rolling Rock Comedy Tent and all of the various other attractions, fan opportunities and sponsors back this year's event.
