Winds of PlagueBand membership has its privileges, and California's Winds of Plague are living proof of that, as they are enjoying a sponsorship via uber cool shoe company, Draven Shoes. But being sponsored means so much more than unlimited free kicks! "We live pretty close to their headquarters in California," vocalist Johnny Plague told Noisecreep. "Every now and then, every month or two, we go in there and say 'hi' and get some shoes. But they help us out with promotion on our tours, and they bought some ad space in magazines. They will also be making a poster for us to take on tour."

But regardless of all the support the company lends to the band, the singer remains a steadfast fan of the footwear, saying, "I am happy with their shoes! I would buy and have bought their shoes before we were sponsored. The DP Dragsters are the ones that I love. They are black on black and I bought a pair before we were sponsored, and I bought a pair of their Creepers, too."

While Draven has done a Slipknot shoe, Winds of Plague don't expect a WOP low top design any time soon! "We may do a skateboard deck with them," Johnny said. The singer is known for his love of Halloween, but the skate deck won't reflect this. The deck will most likely be the band's album artwork, a tried and true Winds of Plague skate deck.
