Over this past summer, Vendetta Red announced that they would be reuniting after a five-year hiatus. During their original run, the Seattle band found success with albums Between the Never and the Now, Sisters of the Red and the 2003 single, "Shatterday."

Vendetta Red spent part of 2012 in the studio with producer Terry Date (Pantera, Soundgarden) working on their forthcoming fifth studio album titled, Scripture. The first song released from the album, "Close to Me," hit the airwaves earlier this year. "Close to Me" is a slow burner, showcasing a creepy-crawly guitar riff and restrained vocal from Zach Davidson, before exploding with the kind of anthemic chorus that made Vendetta Red so irresistible back in the 2000s.

In this Noisecreep exclusive, we're bringing you the Luke Knecht-directed video for "Close to Me."
