Guitarist JD of Unholy, who just released 'New Life Behind Closed Eyes' via Prosthetic Records, gave Noisecreep an exclusive tour of his odd little apartment. There's a lot of creepy, eyebrow-raising stuff stored in Dennison's crib -- an embalming table, mummified corpses, morbid literature and more.

An embalming table, and other assorted sideshow treats: "For a shelf in my living room, I have an embalming table from 1880. One of the most commonly asked questions about the embalming table is, 'Do you bang girls on that?' I am sorry to disappoint, but that has yet to happen. My walls are packed with original art from some of the world's greatest artists of the macabre, as well as many sideshow gaffs. This includes a heart of a young vampire boy impaled by a small stake and assorted mummified body parts in display cases."

Sculpted art from Mexico: "I am fortunate enough to own a great collection of sculpted art by a guy nicknamed 'OOS' from Mexico. Included is a set of three zombies that stand around 15" tall, and are the most brutal things you will ever see. One is a pregnant woman with her fetuses torn out of her womb, dangling on her knee by their umbilical cords, eaten by maggots and worms. Also in the collection is a witch zombie that steals the souls of unborn children from their mothers. Another piece is [a] mummified corpse that is so detailed that when I say it was a dead baby I bought off eBay, my guests believe me."

Books about...syphilis?: "I have a great collection of books on antique medical photography, postmortem and death. A prized possession is a children's book called 'Corky The Killer,' which is the story of syphilis that was published in 1945. It's a very wild book! I think what makes my apartment even darker than the items that reside in it is the fact that a couple years before I moved in, someone was stabbed in the apartment below me, like 27 odd times. Of course no one mentioned this tiny detail until after I moved in." We think he's got a strong case for getting his security deposit back, since his landlords neglected to reveal that crucial piece of information.
