It's time for a metal madrigal, courtesy of Finnish "battle metal" warriors Turisas. The band will release 'Turisas2013' on Sept. 3 and to ramp up excitement, Turisas have shared the battle-ready new song 'Into the Free.' It's a galloping "freedom anthem" that will certainly get fists pumping in the air and get you pumped for the battlefield aka the concert room floor.

The band is pretty certain that the fiery yet folkish song will be a real crowd pleaser and they plan to play it live, to help get adrenaline coursing through the veins of all those who catch the band in concert.

Violinist Olli Vanska offered some insight into the song, saying "'Into the Free' shows a completely different side of the new album: it's fast, uplifting, raw and contains some super catchy sing-along parts. We already played this 'freedom anthem' on a couple of summer festivals and the reception was really good right from the start. As an instant crowd mover, I believe the song has already earned its place in the setlist of the upcoming tours."

It sounds like the kind of song a medieval warrior would want to listen to before hopping on his steed and heading into battle. Rawr!
