Formed in 2003, it's taken a long time for Title Fight to get into the studio to record their debut album, but we'd be lying if we said it wasn't worth the wait. Produced by Rival Schools guitarist-vocalist Walter Schreifels, 'Shed' is easily one of the most exciting punk records released in the past couple of years.

On 'Shed,' Title Fight deliver mile-wide vocal hooks in the spirit of bands like Lifetime and Bouncing Souls and marry them to the kind of driving rhythms and guitar riffs hardcore bands usually favor. There's also a mid-'90s Superchunk-like mood to some of their songwriting. After releasing a handful of EPs and 7"s, the Kingston, Penn. quartet recording 'Shed' over a two-week period at the legendary Studio 4 in Philadelphia.

"We wrote the last record when we were in high school and since then we've dropped out of school, seen the world and had life experiences that are all reflected here," said bassist-vocalist Ned Russin, who also happens to be brother of Cold World guitarist Alex Russin.

"Back in April we went into the woods and filmed a video for 'Shed' with a Super 8 camera. Kevin Custer directed it and we're excited how it came out," Russin told Noisecreep about the clip.

"We've been a band for seven years and this is the first time we've had a recording that's longer than seven minutes long," Russin adds. "The last year has been a crazy ride but the whole time we've always stayed true to the fact that we're not trying to be anything we're not," says Russin. "We're four friends that play in a band together and we would still be doing this whether we were playing to five people or five hundred of them."
