The band lineup for Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare is shaping up, and the horror themed festivities will contain 15 nights of music including a Nov. 2 performance by Zombie himself. Motionless In White had to pull out of the Saturday, Oct. 26 performance, but Vampires Everywhere and Winds of Plague have stepped in as their replacements.

Good news for unsigned bands in Southern California or the general vicinity. The Slidebar, located in Fullerton over in Orange County, has teamed up with Rob Zombie and his 'Great American Nightmare' attraction. The bar will host the Rob Zombie's 'Great American Nightmare' Battle of the Bands showcase, which runs in September and October.

It was a collision of horror rock icons when Rob Zombie joined Danzig and Doyle of the Misfits onstage in Montreal this past weekend. The epic performance of 'Vampira' from the Misfits' 1982 release 'Walk Among Us' took place at the Heavy Mtl Festival and it was a moment to behold for headbangers and metalheads.

After all this time, what's the one thing that Rob Zombie has yet to do? That's right … a concert DVD. But the frontman and his band will let the cameras roll over two nights in Texas next month.

For those holding out hope for a White Zombie reunion someday, Rob Zombie says it's time to move on. In a new interview with Consequence of Sound's 'Rock It Out Blog' (seen above), Zombie says that his former band worked better in a certain place and time and he's not all that interested in trying to recreate that magic.

Proving that there's no such thing as too much metal, the Hartford stop of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival's main stage continued the musical assault that had started on the side stages earlier in the day.
