Motorhead and Bad Brains -- out. Hatebreed and many more -- in. Riot Fest, set to unfold the weekend of Sept. 13-15 in Chicago, has lost a few metal participants but has gained some quality hard rock acts at the same time.
Hatebreed have a busy fall ahead of them, as they are headlining a North American tour to promote their latest album 'Divinity of Purpose.' Joining the metalheads on the trek are Shadows Fall, Battlecross, and the Acacia Strain. Before their tour begins on Sept. 26 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (The Chance), Hatebreed will also share stages with GWAR for a handful of dates.
It'll be Antarctica vs. Connecticut this September when those intergalactic mutants in Gwar hit the road to co-headline a short, concise tour with the hardcore scene's most notorious mosh maniacs Hatebreed. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it run, but it'll be a hoot for those who get to experience it...
