It'll be Antarctica vs. Connecticut this September when those intergalactic mutants in Gwar hit the road to co-headline a short, concise tour with the hardcore scene's most notorious mosh maniacs Hatebreed. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it run, but it'll be a hoot for those who get to experience it.

The trek is just four dates in length, but it could be a mini-tour that they talk about for years, decades or even centuries to come. You can never predict how many theatrical virgin sacrifices will take place during a Gwar set or how many beefy bodies will emerged battered, bruised and bloodied from a 'Breed pit. It's two totally different factions of fans, and when they collide, hopefully via a wall of death mosh move, it most definitely will be epic.

"We're extremely happy to finally hook up some Gwar and Hatebreed dates after years of trying to get our schedules to connect," exclaimed Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta. "We'll have spent this entire summer rocking stages in Europe so it will be great to get back to the good ol' USA, to get down and dirty in the clubs with our favorite mutants from Antarctica. These gigs are not to be missed!"

Gwar's fearless leader Oderus Urungus was much more succinct, but his point was well taken, saying, "Gwar and Hatebreed together is really gonna f--- some people up." Consider yourself warned!

Both Gwar and Hatebreed have other dates on the horizon separate from each other. To see Gwar's shows, click here and for Hatebreed's performances, check this link.
