Slayer to Release 1995 Concert Video on DVD

Slayer are planning to release their first home video, the 1995-released 'Live Intrusion,' on DVD. The original was released on the now-dinosaur-like VHS format, but thanks to the conveniences of modern technology and the digital age, the concert will be transferred to the much higher quality DVD realm. The show features performance footage from the band's 'Divine Intervention' tour, which took place in 1995. The DVD is set for an Aug. 16 release.

Slayer will hit the road again this summer as part of American Carnage with Megadeth and Testament. The second leg will feature the original Clash of the Titans lineup, with Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax trashing and slashing their way through life.
