Rattlehead

If you like the classic, gnarly thrash metal (you know, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax), then you're going to love Rattlehead, who siphon influence from the aforementioned unholy quartet. The Los Angeles-based band will release its second full-length, 'Tales From the Gutter,' today and Noisecreep is pleased to premiere this new song, 'Nightmares Never Sleep.' It's a real thrashterpiece, which actually reminds us of early Biohazard, too!

"The song 'Nightmares Never Sleep' -- being by far the heaviest song on the album and heaviest one we've ever written -- is a track welcoming the listener into our world of insanity, with no hope of return to the real world," vocalist/guitarist Nick Baranov told Noisecreep. "This is underlined by the dark lyrical content that builds into a crescendo as the guitar solos take over and take the listener through a nightmare of sounds. We hope you enjoy this as a song to break your neck to."

Busted necks aside, 'Tales From the Gutter' is available. Some Rattlehead trivia? DragonForce guitarist Sam Totman served in an assistant production capacity on the record, too.
