Gifts From Enola

Harrisonburg, Va.'s Gifts From Enola have been synonymous with the more serene, only slightly delving into hazes of loud on their albums; turning it up was always saved for the live show. For the forthcoming self-titled album, which is streaming in its entirety, the heaviest moments from their critically-celebrated 'From Fathoms' album seemed to have been focused on leaving the electronic clusters behind.

For this third full-length outing, the band went to Moving Mountains guitarist/vocalist Gregory Dunn to mix and master, making this the first release bassist Nate Dominy didn't mix himself. In a recent interview, he defined the albums transitions by the recording process. "The production is a big difference, its much more polished and clean sounding. This is the first time we've recorded most everything in a real studio."
