What's better than a Friday night seeing Philip Anselmo and his band the Illegals on tour in New York City? Partying with him the night before in New York and then seeing the show, that's what!

If you plan to hit the NYC show at the Gramercy Theater, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 16, you might be able to hang with the man himself since he will be in town the day before the Technicians of Distortion Tour descends upon Manhattan.

Here's all the pertinent intel: Samson, Revolution Bar + Music Hall and Looney Tunes, a music retailer, are partnering for a special event. The band will hit the Amityville, N.Y. venue on Thursday, Aug. 15. There will be a private meet and greet and a signing session with the band and more.

To attend the meet and greet portion, you must purchase a copy of the record 'Walk Through Exits Only' at Looney Tunes and produce your ticket for the show in New York City the following night. That's the only way to gain access.

Admission is $15, while doors are at 7:30. You must be 18 to rock and 21 to roll. So it's 18 to get in and 21 to drink, obviously. Go here for more information if you've got the moxie to hang out with a metal legend.
