Ozzy Osbourne Is Record Store Day 2011 Ambassador
Prince of Darkness. The Blizzard of Ozz. Those are some of Ozzy Osbourne's most famous nicknames. Now he can add Record Store Day Ambassador to his list of illustrious and esteemed monikers, descriptors and titles. Osbourne will serve as Record Store Day Ambassador on April 16.
He'll be releasing 30th anniversary vinyl editions of both 'Blizzard of Ozz' and 'Diary of a Madman,' along with a seven-inch single of 'Flying High Again' to help mom and pop record retailers celebrate this day dedicated solely to music. It's safe to say that he probably won't hold any dove biting events on Record Store Day, though.
