Evile

"With the beginning of a new decade comes a new beginning for us as well: We're about to hit the road with our new bass player Joel Graham, and we've only had three weeks to teach him two albums worth of songs, it's a giant undertaking and a weird situation for both him and ourselves because as always, it's something you never see coming," Evile vocalist Matt Drake exclusively tells Noisecreep.

The thrash metallers recently announced Joel Graham as the band's new bassist. Former bassist Mike Alexander died unexpectedly last year. Shortly before his death, Alexander participated in a ''Creep Show' taping.

"I hope the people who come to the shows to watch us understand the situation we're in. It's going to take time for us all to be comfortable and adapt to the way things will now be, but in time we will be strong," Drake continued.

Evile recently released its first picture of the band with Graham.

"I'd just like to say how much I'm looking forward to the upcoming tour with the band, and can't wait to meet all the Evile fans personally," Graham said via a press statement. "Since the announcement was made about me joining Evile, the words of support have been overwhelming in what is ultimately a very difficult position in the band to fill. All I will say is, I will do my best every night of the tour and contribute what I can to keep this band stronger than ever."

The Infecting Nations Tour kicks off Thursday in Cardiff, U.K. Warbringer and the Fading will provide tour support.

"This new year also marks the first time Evile will be coming to the states on tour. It's been planned numerous times but always fell through in the end, but this time it's happening. In March we will be traveling America with Kreator, and in April we do it all again with Overkill, and we can't wait to introduce ourselves to an American audience, we want to gig there as much as possible and it all starts this year. See you all at the shows!" concludes Drake.
