‘Ol’ Drake and Mike Alexander of Evile Interview — ”Creep Show’

Check out this week's episode of ''Creep Show.' It's almost as scary as that scene in the titular 1982 horror film where Hal Holbrook feeds his wife to a monster that lives in a crate under the stairs.

The title of this week's show, 'Evile Has No Boundaries' is fashioned after a 1983 song by Slayer. That's because our guest artists are guitarist 'Ol' Drake and bassist Mike Alexander of Evile, whose 2007 debut, 'Enter the Grave,' was the best Slayer-inspired offering we've heard since Demiricous' 2006 record 'One.' Evile have since expanded their thrash boundaries and are ready to attack us with their second album, 'Infected Nations,' which comes out Sept. 22. During our conversation with Evile, the guys talked about why they don't want to sound exactly like early Slayer, why ex-Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen didn't join them in the studio this time, how Drake broke his jaw last year and why Drake and his brother, vocalist Matt, don't fight like the guys in Chevelle.
