Copyrights exist for a reason, as Mötley Crüe and Live Nation are quickly discovering. Ron Toma -- a man who claims to hold the copyright to the definitive crotch/leather pants/belt buckle image that adorns Mötley Crüe's 'Too Fast For Love' album cover -- is suing both the band and the concert promoter. Toma is accusing the Crue and Live nation of "stealing" the image and using it on hoodies without permission. Toma is asking judge to block the Crue from using the image.

Photographer Michael Pinter took the photo back in 1981 and it has since become an iconic image synonymous with Mötley Crüe; however, Toma claims to own the rights to the photo.

On semi-related note, the cover of Anal C---'s new album, 'F---in' A,' is a send up of the 'Too Fast for Love' cover.
