Motley Crue singer Vince Neil is on the mend after being rushed to a hospital in Sydney, Australia right in the middle of the Crue's set on Saturday (March 9.) The frontman complained of intense pain while onstage. It was so severe that he couldn't continue the performance and instead sought medical attention. It was then revealed that he was suffering from kidney stones, which are said to be some of the most painful things a human being can experience.

According to The Las Vegas Sun, Neil was transported from the venue to the hospital via ambulance and immediately underwent a CT scan. The Crue's set was obviously cut short when the frontman couldn't continue.

Neil's girlfriend Rain Andreani initially told the paper that Neil was waiting for results and that an operation was in the realm of possibility. Then possibility turned into reality, as Neil was prepped for surgery Down Under on Sunday, March 10. The stones placed pressure on his kidney and needed to be removed immediately.

Bassist Nikki Sixx posted an update on Facebook, revealing that Neil was in excruciating pain before he took the stage and when the promoter suggested that he not perform, the singer wasn't having any of it and didn't want to axe the show and disappoint fans. That's dedication – putting fans before his health.

"As many have heard, we had to cut our set short by four songs last night due to Vince being in severe pain on stage. He was doubled over on his dressing room floor five minutes 'till show time and was told by the promoter to not even play, but Vince said he couldn't do that to the fans.

"I've seen Vinnie go onstage with broken bones, his voice completely blown out and torn ligaments, but he never ever cancels... Just like an athlete, you sometimes have to play through the pain, but last night it became to excruciating.

"I was texting with Vince most of the night last night as he was just waiting for the doctor to come back with the test results. This morning we found out he had to be admitted into surgery to remove kidney stones. He just got out five minutes ago and the doctors said everything went well in the operating room.

"I am going to the hospital to see him before I head to Brisbane."
