Limp Bizkit While many of us thought that Limp Bizkit were a thing of the past, Fred Durst, Wes Borland and company are about to soar back into public awareness with a forthcoming massive global tour in support of their next album, 'Gold Cobra,' which is due out later this year. The 'Gold Cobra' tour is the band's first major concert trek in more than nine years. Nine years? Has it really been a decade since Durst dominate the landscape with his bad behavior?

The original lineup of Durst, Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal will play over 30 headline shows in the U.S. this summer. The tour will feature Snoop Dogg as the support act. Snoop is certainly worth the price of admission himself. This U.S. leg of the tour will be followed by a European run of more than 40 headlining shows.

The Bizkit also released a sneak preview of the Cobra on www.limpbizkit .com. The fan response was so fevered and rabid that the site's server crashed, thanks to 50,000 listens in just a handful of hours. Ease up, Bizkiteers. There'll be more to go around soon enough.

While the return of Limp Bizkit may elicit its fair share of eye rolling, let's not forget that the band has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide and has picked up three Grammy nominations. So the 'kids' do care about the band and this trek.
