Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage will hook up for what promises to be one of the better metal tours of the fall. The longtime friends have just announced a 28-date trek that will keep them on the road together from late October through the end of November.

As if that powerful twosome wasn't enough, they'll be joined by thrash legends Testament and rising metal favorites Huntress for all shows with the exception of the Los Angeles performance. Huntress vocalist Jill Janus stated, "I have visualized this; dreaming that Huntress could one day tour with Lamb of God. We are beyond honored and humbled to open for the mighty LOG, Killswitch Engage and Testament. My mind is blown, this is a trip! Huntress shall melt faces this fall ... I can't wait to rage the stage with these three monstrous legends of metal!" The trek launches Oct. 22 in Toronto at Kool Haus and continues through the Nov. 26 finale at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, Md.

For Lamb of God, this North American run will conclude their stateside 'Resolution' album tour cycle. Dates still remain for Europe and South Africa in January beyond the North American run. As for Killswitch Engage, the band is just kicking things into gear. Their album 'Disarm the Descent' was released back in April and they've been building the momentum ever since. This tour cycle has also been a major one for the band as they've welcomed original vocalist Jesse Leach back into the group.

All dates for the Lamb of God / Killswitch Engage fall tour go on sale this weekend (July 19 and 20).
