Orange County, Calif. has long been a hotbed for punk/hardcore music. Everyone from Social Distortion and TSOL to Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold have called the area home. One of the latest groups to emerge from Orange County is Heartist, a young quintet who recently signed to Roadrunner Records.

Before Heartist head out in a couple of weeks on their first national tour, Noisecreep conducted a video interview at the home of guitarist Tim Koch, and even had the pleasure of including one of the band member's moms in the discussion. Heartist is Bryce Beckley on vocals, Jonathan Gaytan and Tim Koch on guitars, Matt Marquez on drums and Evan Ranallo on bass - check them out on their upcoming run and look out for their upcoming EP, Nothing You Didn't Deserve.
