The year closes out with a light slate of releases on the hard rock and metal front, which is the industry standard. Most pop and rap records fill the shelves right around the holidays, but there are some new quality releases about to land, among them being Hinder's 'All American Nightmare,' which hits on Dec. 7. Danish metal crosses the ocean in the form of Volbeat's 'Beyond Hell/Above Heaven,' which is already out in Europe, while British transplants Asking Alexandria go the remix route with 'Stand Up and Scream (Stepped Up and Scratched).'

Additionally, members of Fall Out Boy, Every Time I Die and Anthrax team up for the Damned Things, who release their major label debut on Dec. 14. In order to prep you for all the metal glories of 2011, we included the a week of releases for January as well.
