Lock in and crank it up, as Gemini Syndrome are ready to share their 'Lux' album a full week before it officially hits stores (Sept. 10), and Noisecreep is the one to exclusively bring it to you.

The five-piece outfit led by frontman Aaron Nordstrom serve up a slab of hard-hitting, in-your-face rockers as well as more melodic hard rock pieces of ear candy that are sure to be stuck in your head for days on end.

Fans are already embracing the recent single, 'Basement,' which Nordstrom says was about his life as a teen and coming to terms with being an outsider. Another standout cut on the disc is the album opener, 'Pleasure and Pain,' which grabs hold with its aggressive guitar work and leads the listener on an adrenaline-filled ride while speaking to the duality that we all face in life. Other stellar cuts on the disc include the full throttle rocker 'Falling Apart,' the fist-pumper 'Stardust,' the alternately moody and anthemic track 'Mourning Star' and the more melodic 'Take This.'

Nordstrom says of the album, "For us, the music is like a drug, an addiction. It's our therapy. But that the same time, by writing and performing these songs we want to be able to give others a sense of hope and belonging to a community -- to not feel like they're alone. Ultimately, we want to be a positive force in the face of all the negatives out there. That's the core goal … aside from world domination, of course."

In addition, fans can catch the group on tour this fall, opening shows for Five Finger Death Punch. The trek launches Sept. 17 in Medford, Ore., following the band's appearance two days earlier at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, Calif.
