The Swedish band Avatar will be returning to the United States in August for another round of dates to promote their latest album Hail the Apocalypse. Supporting bands for the trek that kicks off Aug. 27 in South Bend, Ind. are Huntress, Gemini Syndrome and First Decree.

It will be the last U.S. tour for the Hail the Apocalypse tour cycle. "We are heading towards the final curtain call of the apocalypse," says frontman Johannes Eckerström. "The hymns will be played one more time before we close this chapter and you need to be there. Destruction and decay is best viewed from a front row seat and as always, we intend to mix things up bring the freaky in ways we haven't before."

Avatar plan on beginning work on a new album towards the end of the year, with a new record to be issued in 2016. Huntress' latest album Static will be unleashed Sept. 25.

Vocalist Jill Janus says, “The evolution of Huntress bleeds into Static, our third and most prolific album. It is the heaviest and catchiest record we’ve written. The process of writing and recording was new and exciting, at times very difficult for all involved, having to record in between relentless touring."

Gemini Syndrome's debut album Lux was released in 2013 and spawned several singles including the top 20 rock hit "Stardust."  Wyoming rockers First Decree are preparing to release their second album This Is Our Rise on Aug. 21 and recently unveiled the new video "Lost in the Crowd."
