Punk Icons Band Together for Fellow Musician’s Liver Transplant + More News

Punk rockers, friends and fans of China White guitarist Frank Ruffino, a father of two, are working in concert to save his life. The Unite the United Foundation, formed by Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, is behind several eBay auctions offering one-of-a-kind items, like instrumentals and other collectibles, to help raise the cash needed to fund Ruffino's liver transplant surgery, which will save his life.

Autographed guitars, skate decks and more donated by everyone from Social Distortion, Pennywise, Rancid, Bad Religion, Black Flag and more are available.

All proceeds will go to Frank's hospital care, family lodging and transportation expenses. All Unite the United Foundation auctions can be accessed here or here.

Bon Jovi's "Army of One" will be featured as the theme song of The Discovery Channel's new, seven-part series North America. The show captures "life colliding with hostile, untamed wilderness in the most diverse, deadly environment on Earth." Sounds intriguing. The series premieres May 19.
