Five Finger Death Punch are the latest act to take part in the Walmart Soundcheck online series and the band took the time to answer a few questions leading up to the performance. In this clip, guitarist Zoltan Bathory discusses the history of music and the tribal nature that has spanned the test of time.

Bathory says, "This tribal noise, humans kind of figured out that there is this and there is that and they created music that was amping them up and I think music is the same thing today." However Bathory says things are more sophisticated now with electric guitars and fully formed instruments leading the way, but the one thing that has evolved over time is that music has brought power to the people.

Five Finger Death Punch are currently sharing that tribal spirit on the road as part of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. The band's new album, 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell,' is currently available in stores and online.
