Nothing lasts forever, and Confide are living proof of that fact. Upon their return from a tour in Japan, the hardcore act disbanded after six years as a unit. "I want to let our fans know that the breakup is a positive thing and that everyone in the band is still friends without any hard feelings," offered lead singer Ross Kenyon in a statement. "We decided that Confide would come to an end after our Japan tour in early October."

The group also said collectively that they plan on playing some farewell shows on the West Coast, and they will announce the final dates and details once everything is settled. The band said, "We want to thank fans with these shows and let them know we truly appreciate their support over the years."

The statement continued, It's hard to see Confide end, but we know that God has a new chapter for our lives right now. Every member of the band remains friends and the band breaking up was not due to any one person -- it was a group decision."

Their final album, 'Recover,' was released earlier this year via Tragic Hero.
