Cerebral Ballzy Dedicate ‘Insufficient Fare’ to All New Yorkers – Song Premiere
East New York, Brooklyn isn't known as a hotbed for hardcore punk, but that hasn't gotten in the way of Cerebral Ballzy. Already dubbed "New York's next great band" by the NME, the group has already toured the UK and Europe twice, performing with the likes of Anthrax, F-cked Up and OFF! The quintet's attitude-packed live shows and no-nonsense songwriting style lends itself perfectly to both the hardcore and punk scenes.
Led by vocalist Honor Titus and bassist Melvin Honore, Cerebral Ballzy will be releasing their self-titled debut album on July 26th via Adult Swim's Williams Street Records. Noisecreep presents the premiere of 'Insufficient Fare,' one of the blazing tracks off the record.

Honore gave Noisecreep the mission statement behind the lyrics in 'Insufficient Fare':
"The song is seemingly about us not having enough money to ride the train, but when really delved into, it's a snotty rant about us being oppressed by the constantly changing economic hell that kills us all. It's a thrash yet melodic insult to people that try and stop you from getting where you have to go. Every NYC person can relate to the term "insufficient fare," but there's a sect of people that can't control the minor rate hikes that, in the end, screw them. We dedicate this song to them."
