Formed in 2003, Beneath Oblivion specializes in a hypnotic style of songwriting that creeps up into your brain long after the music stops. The closest comparisons to the band's sound would be groups like Sleep and Grief with the experimental bent of Agalloch. It's no surprise that Beneath Oblivion was snatched up by taste-making label The Mylene Sheath.

On September 27th Beneath Oblivion will be releasing 'From Man to Dust,' their latest slab of forward-thinking metal madness. Recorded by Andy Perkins and mastered by Billy Anderson [Brutal Truth, Neurosis], the record has the earthiness and bottom end that most other metal releases sadly lack these days. The group has partnered with Noisecreep to bring you the premiere of 'Empire,' one of the album's standout tracks.
