After a major campaign to fund it, the Scottish city of Kirriemuir revealed a statue of late AC/DC singer Bon Scott during the city's Bonfest.

The new statue will be unveiled in April at Kirriemuir's annual Bonfest.

The Kirriemuir Herald reports the annual Bon Scott rock celebration, which is aptly named Bon Fest, is being moved from its May 2014 dates to Aug. 15-17 in hopes that the rescheduling will coincide with the town's planned unveiling of the Bon Scott statue.
