Maryland Deathfest is going out with a bang.

A banner year for the underground and one where metal's biggest album ever was released.

The first wave of bands for the 2017 edition of Maryland Deathfest has been announced with Morbid Angel and Autopsy leading the lineup of nearly 20 acts so far.

California death metal legends Autopsy have revealed details for their seventh studio album, 'Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves.' The gore-obsessed foursome released 'The Headless Ritual' last year, but the group has taken no time at all to craft 'Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves,' which will brutalize fans beginning April 29.

California death metal butchers Autopsy will headline the all-ages Slaughter by the Water festival in Richmond, Calif. on June 25th at the Craneway Pavilion. The lineup is a virtual Who's Who of extreme metal bands: Nuclear Assault, Whiplash, Cattle Decapitation, Zombie Apocalypse, Warbringer, Hatchet and a host of others bands illegible logos will round out the bill...
